Projects that destroy what is left of our natural heritage must be avoided at all costs.
Will the area the Hon. Asiamah represents not be far better off exploiting its tourism potentials, and developing agroforestry cooperatives for its youth?
Ditto teaching the youth to grow mushrooms and go into snail-farming for exporting giant African snails and for local urban markets?
Will that not create an entrepreneurial culture in the area and transform the local economy into a green and sustainable one, one wonders? Hmm, Ghana - eyeasem o!

Its cheaper importing alumina than refining it in Ghana. Power must be constant and in Huge quantity for any aluminium industry

We`ve sold and continue to sell gold, diamond, timber, cocoa, coffee, crude oil, manganese but look at us. Its not the selling of bauxite which will not do us more harm.

The locals or foerign nationals and companies. Bes practice would be to improve basic amenities in the whole areas. Howeever knowing our greedy MP's and constructors only a few would benfit from such exploitation.
