I can see that this government can't be trusted for any message he gives to we the citizens. The president said ECG would not be privatised but later turn arround to say we should be prepared for privatisation. All what our president told us from the beginning he turn arround to do the opposite and now he said powerside workers are assured of security. Who in this world will believe this government especially when the power level and commitment is in shambles? Problem paa nie oo!

IT WILL BE A MAD ADVENTURE TO PRIVATISE ELECTRICITY COMPANY OF GHANA, THAT ONLY RECEIVES AND DISTRIBUTES POWER FROM VOLTA RIVER AUTHOURITY.
THE MANAGING BOARD CAN BE CHARGED FOR MANIPULATING THE FUNDS OF THE COMPANY, BUT, THE QUESTION IS, WHERE IS THE NEW COMPANY GOING TO RECEIVE ITS POWER SUPPLY,IS IT FROM THE SAME VRA WITH ITS CONTINUED POWER FALLOUT IN THE COUNTRY.
NOBODY KNOWS WHO ARE THE IRRSPONSIBLE PEOPLE WHO ARE BEHIND SUCH A MAD ADVENTURE.
WHERE IS THE NEW COMPANY GOING TO RECEIVE ITS POWER, WILL IT COME FROM THEIR OWN ELECTRICITY PLANT,OR FROM TOGO, NIGER, CHAD,BURKINA FOSO AND IVORY COAST.

ECG is repeating the same mistake Ghana Telecom committed those days. Ghana Telecoms continued selling their mobile Sim cards exorbitantly without considering the customers. In no time MTN came and collected all the customers of Ghana Telecoms. From them it was difficult for Ghana Telecom now Vodaphone to regain those customers and has been trailing behind MTN. Today ECG is arrogantly misbehaving while the worker's have illegally connected people, kiosks and homes and receiving illegal monies from those sources and not considering the consumers. Last week I saw persons illegally connecting electricity and I called the Teshie In charge and he never bother to pick my call. I have personably reported many illegal connections but they are still there. The wind that sweep Ghana Telecoms is on the move. Nobody can stop it. It would have to sweep all the ECG workers after which the dedicated ones would be reemployed.
