    What about the fact that the chinese cement is not tested beford it is brought on the market? Go and build your house ith their cement and see what happens!

    Hey don't do that mistake, the importation has brought competition and the almighty PRICE STABILITY. As soon as the china cement is banned, they will start giving funny and useless excuses to increase the prices. let it stay

    We don't want monopoly cement market but competitive cement so that ghacem will not sell cement to Ghanaians at cutthroat prices under the pretext of high import of raw-materials.

    You sound like a visitor from the moon. all these want to do is control supply and up prices. how can Ghana develop its infrastructure with high cement prices? the current price per 50 kg bag is even over priced.

    we should leave it as it is, there must be a competition in the system, ban chines cement will give the local manufacturing companies a key to hick the prices.

    Ghanacem started shaking when Dangote came because they were killing Ghanaians. Now Dangote will build more factories across Africa. And Dangote is African owned and African-managed unlike Ghacem that belongs to Europeans

    So long as the quality can be confirmed, Ghana should not ban Cement or any other product. Dangote also affected other manufacturers when they entered the market.

    At what price?, this cut throat prices of Ghanian cement manufacturers should be checked. Mind yu dangote is sold at 15 Ghana cedis a bag in nigeria.
