If they have not disregarded any of the country's labor laws, then what is the issue here? The issue is certainly one of bad journalism! Elizabeth Ohene and Cameron Duodu must be wondering whatever happened to the quality of journalism in Ghana!

Where in this world that a worker wants only his or her way?
The so called TUC , must start to educate worker of the need to work for the company to make profit so it can expand to be able to employ many people.
Many of our people outside do some jobs that these lazy people at home can't dream off .
Pity that when they come home they never tell thier stories.
We must stand up as a nation to work hard for our country.
We are not working for the chines , the europien or the American who is working in our country but to make our country move foward.

The truth is that Ghanaians are generally lazy. We always demand for more money even if that will lead to the collapse of the company. Do you remember how Ghanaian workers kept stealing materials meant for the construction of the Tamale and Takoradi stadiums? The Chinese were forced to sack most of the workers and import their compatriots from China. Check around and you will see that our workers have sat out demanding more money from the Brazilian company constructing the circle interchange all many such companies. We are simply lazy and will not mind killing the bird that lays the golden egg. Yes, there are bad companies but in most of these cases the demands are unjustifiable considering our work ethics and output.
