Well done, Honourable Minister!MDWU appreciates your efforts on unemployment problem in Ghana. Decent Work starts from domestic work(households). This is why there is a need for Ghana to ratify ILO Convention 189 on decent work for domestic workers. I would love to
suggest that Youth Employment Module should redesign to cover Training, Health and Safety Needs and Decent Employment for Domestic Workers so that school leavers, job seeking youth could develop interest in Domestic Work.

We need to develop and expand NVTI to train more of our youth to acquire marketable skills.
This would enhance job creation and address the unemployment situation.
