We are losers if we have to depend on bonds to pay debts.Why cant we grow palms for palm oil, create jobs and harvest and export in billions and to part of the debts ?

What interest rate are you going to offer for this 5-year bond denominated in cedis? Only ignorant Ghanaians will buy such bonds. Most of the time in the history of the cedi, it would have been better for an investor to keep ... read full comment
What interest rate are you going to offer for this 5-year bond denominated in cedis? Only ignorant Ghanaians will buy such bonds. Most of the time in the history of the cedi, it would have been better for an investor to keep his/her money in dollars under the pillow and just change what is needed into cedis at the time of the need - rather than invest in a long term Government bond in cedis.
