Personally, I hold the opposite view and think the Government should be taking the tourism business more seriously and earn much needed foreign revenue. Please note the Islands in the Caribbean have relied on revenue from Tourism as their main incomes for decades. Ghana has so much historical places and natural beauty that exists in all of the Regions. Tourism attracts foreign investment and creates Jobs both of which are much needed in Ghana.

After reading the article and looking at the website, you realize it's ONE 'travel and tour' organization that is singing Ghana's praises. Stating that 'Ghana among top travel destination' is wrong.
Ghana falls woefully short on a lot of tourist facilities. However, Ghana does have a lot of great things to offer. The relative safety and warmth of the people is one if its strongest assets. It needs the right strategy to target a segment of customers that would be more than happy to explore ghana.

The Father of JDM, was a Senior Official of the CPP, and was able to provide his children with a comfortable upbringing. Both JDM and Nana Addo have enjoyed similar upbringings. Neither of them have faced any economic hardship since their birth.
