  An excellent idea: encouraging the cultivation of OFSP. Several reasons could be cited - economic. moving away from our traditional exports; nutritional - good source of fiber, may be one of nature's unsurpassed sources of beta carotene, abundant sources of vitamins A, C, B6, B3, B1 & B2.
  
  Both OFSP & purple flesh sweet potatoes PFSP have important antioxidant properties, are anti-inflammatory, and research have showed that sweet potatoes have potential to improve blood sugar regulation, which could help people with type 2 diabetes.
  
  Sweet potatoes should be cultivated all over Ghana. They are easy to grow. Had a bumper harvest in October & November.
  
  Why not fish & sweet potato fries ?; that will definitely sell well.
