Most African countries lacks the basic needs of life, Proper toilets along its beaches,no community centres to ensure lcoal intiatives and sense of belonginess, No tourist centre to signpost of the toursits in towns, no tram or metro system to facilitate free and cheaper transportation thus allowing for easier movement from East to West and North to the South within hours. Unless these areas atre sorted Ghana will be forever lacking and wanting.

Fact f the matter is most tourists are actually Ghanaian citizens holding European, North American and other country passports. If we are serious about tourism, we should compare ourselves to Gambia, Tunisia, Kenya , South Africa, Tanzania etc we are far away from being a tourist destination of choice. I agree we don't have the basic infrastructure to support tourism. common sign boards are lacking. Too much political hogwash.

THE PRESENT ARTS CENTRE IN ACCRA WHERE GHANAIAN ARTISTS WORK,IS ALSO A SHAME FOR THE NATION.
IT NEEDS TO BE GIVEN A NEW FACE LIFT. REBUILT
LASTLY,THE PRESENT BROKEN INFRASTUCTURE IN THE COUNTRY,FILTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION DO NOT QUALIFY US AT ALL TO PROMOTE TOURISM IN .
WE ARE IN FACT, THOUSAND KILOMETERS AWAY FROM A SOUND HOSPITALITY AND LEASAURE ACTIVITIES IN GHANA.
HON.SPEAKER,LET US PUT FIRST OUR HOUSE IN ORDER BEFORE REFERRING TO THE REST OF AFRICA.
