What is Keta Basin? Rivers have basins that is why we have Tano Basin, Ankobra Basin, the Nile Basin etc. Keta is a town so how can it have a basin? I think it should be the Volta Basin (Volta River Basin).

The greedy bastards have cheated us on the Jubilee Fields and others and expect to get something better on the Keta Basin???? If it is unattractive for them, then let them go away! On no account should even the govt sign any agreement with them not based on Production Sharing Agreement! They know that Efo Solo who has been championing the campaign for a fair share of our resources through the adoption of the PSA comes from the area and so decided to adopt this attitude to turn the chiefs and the public disgust against them into support. This won't work!
The cluesslees AND GREEDY NPP and NDC have handed over to them our oil boon on silver platter so far. Until they come into their senses, stopped taking peanuts bribes from the FOCS through ploys like the FOCs giving their cover cronies 1-2% shares, they must not even be allowed to sign any new agreements. ALL African countries are adopting PSA and getting at least 60% of total production revenue! Ghana has so far not even got 17% from the Jubilee Fields, and we are supposed to get about 20% under the bad Royalty System.
Leave the Keta basin alone! GO WAY GO KOSMOS! LEECHES! Tell us if it is unprofitable to drill in the North Sea! Or the Gulf of Mexico. Not all of us are like the greedy idiots and morons ruling us and running our judiciary!

My friend, it is not possession of technology that is the key but possession of knowledge about what is prevailing in the sector world wide. And that I have.
Do you think South Sudanese, Chadians, Beninoise, Tanzanians and all those other African countries signing on to PSA have the tech and capital to drill the oil own their own? Answer that question and come back to query me why I support the adoption of PSA in the new Petroleum Bill.

As people who are more enlightened than the greedy clueless people signing very bad agreements with the FOCS for token bribes (even what E&OE got is just a token), we are opposed to any oil in Ghana, including the coastal waters of the VR, being given out on the so-called new-fangled Ghana Hybrid Concession. We know that the Production Sharing Agreement is by far, far a better system, difficult extracting conditions or not!
Tanzania is just re-negotiating to get 61% under PSA! Ghana is not even getting 20% of revenue so far from the Jubilee Fields!
At least, you acknowledged that if they struck out under the existing bad agreements being signed by the greedy, clueless morons ruling us, for the token bribes they have been receiving, the oil would belong to the Europeans and that it won't benefit us; nor you. We know that already; that's why we are opposed to further oil exploration in our shores and land, and the whole of Ghana, under the existing inimical conditions.
Yes, like someone already pointed out, we (Anlos along the coast) shall be exposed to the oil pollution which these foreign oil companies bring with them. Just find some pictures of the disaster in the Niger Delta.
