We must draw up a comprehensive plan to safeguard the future of the industry and sustain economic growth.
Our hard-working farmers need ALL THE SUPPORT THEY Can get in order to produce more cocoa. We must also add value by improving cocoa products like chocolate, cream and fertiliser.

It is the turn of Ewes, Gas and Northerners to take to cocoa farming. Monkey de work baboon de chop must stop in Ghana. Cocoa farming is really a difficult enterprise. It is labour intensive and children in these cocoa growing ares are burning the brunt of having help their parents sustain this industry. Interest in cocoa production is simply no longer there as the aged continue to die to leave the sector barren. The youth are not interested in this hard work with low returns.

I agree, but, it's sad that after over half a century of independence, cocoa is still our main earner. Industrial production is still relatively insignificant. This is a reflection of failed leadership since Nkrumah.
