  This government is the sole cause of the cedi's instability. Their intoxication with the so-called development projects and the belief that more development projects will win them the next election is the main cause of the problem. Projects are allocated to their cronies who make profits and exchange these profits into foreign currencies putting extra presseure on the cedi. So long as there is pressure on the finance ministry to finance these development projects, the cedi will keep depreciating. Mark my words. If the government should reduce these so-called development projects and concetrate on stabilizing the economy the cedi will stabilise and the lives of the people will improve.
