Address the falling cedi, its the problem. no policy will work without a stable currency. BoG move away from the floating exchange rate regime to the fixed exchange rate regime, we need a good currency for business.

The cedi's problem is caused by our adverse balance of payments. That's what's got to be addressed eg by increasing exports significantly. Fixed rates would only lead to shortages & inflation & stifle business

Why charge importduties in dollers? its a factor. So stop blaming lack of export.

l appreciate the efforts of BoG. But the leakages in the system is too much. BoG should quickly do something because the burden on the faces of the citizens is killing.

To be quite honest the gov't has woefully failed in bringing down interest rates. Mahama must raise up his hands and admit it. He must also do something about it before it's too late. This is shambolic governance, not fit for any purpose. Rise up Mahama in your slumber. The governor of bank of Ghana must be fired and a more competent person appointed.
