Great ideas, but where will the people get finance from? Govt is borrowing most of money in banking system. However, a small piece of the govt's massive $20b debt could have helped with these ideas for wealth creation

The regional ministers must provide no business taxes for 10yrs to ATTRACT businesses to set up in their region. Cassava, citrus, salt, fish, rubber, tourism...you can make kokonte and package it for mass export. Cassava powder, haricot,.starch, package salt in boxes and for mass export.to winter countries, set up canned fish factories, frozen coldstore joints, package frozen fish in boxes for sale, build tire factories....etc how many jobs can thks region count from the number of industries I have listed here? PLUS the tourism sector in this region hasn't been harnessed adequately. Why not bring in a foreigner with experience in tourism to run the regional tourism in Central region? Go to egypt or the world's best tourist sites and learn what they do and come to central region and replicate.

Governors of regions should be elected by the people. The governor should be in charge of all the the affairs of the state. If a governor knows that his re-election depends on what he's done in the first term, he'll perform. These ministers don't owe the regions anything and so they just occupy the office and get paid They don't even stay in the regions. They just stay in Accra so why will they make the regions nice?

These small nations have higher GDPs simply becos they have factories and export products to.other nations in africa and globally. Use resource wealth, loans and taxes wisely to seek development partners from Asia and brasil to build factories, create jobs and spur infrastructural development. The so called leaders don't have a longterm approach to anything but stealing. Smoke the fish and add seasoning, package them well according to international standards and export to areas all over the globe. Think outside the box and find new markets.
