Mr.President be upright and tackle this power crisis. This country will be ungovernable that's what Babylon NPP said and they are executing it very well.

The energy crisis in the country did not begin under President Mahama; the problem occurred under president Kufour. The then energy Minister did not know about the power barges or if he knew, he did not seek recourse in them to resolve the energy crisis. He rather bought some generators that the NPP energy expert himself described as 'toys'. Were a permanent solution found then, we would not have been in this situation today. At that time the NPP was bereft of ideas to fix the energy crisis; all too soon, they are emerging as the only ones who can fix the problem. You squandered your chance! President Mahama and the NDC did not help you fail; do not be pushing them along the same sloppy path of failure. The idea is 50% the solution; you didn't have it and so you failed; he has it; give him space to deliver. Better we fix the problem once and for all than manage it with 'toys' and energy saving bulbs. Remember, you couldn't fix the Madina / Adenta water problem in the eight years that you were in office; in his first four years, he's done that. Teshie too now has water flowing; what a relief! You couldn't expand the Ridge Hospital in your eight years in office; in his first four years , he's doing that. All you did at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle in your eight years in office was a walk way you constructed; in his first four years, he's putting up a labyrinthine fly over. The Eastern Corridor that you talked about for eight years that you were in office is now being done by him. Where is the railway you said you were going to construct to Paga? He has already done the airport in Kumasi and he's doing another one in Tamale. The sages could not be wrong when they said empty barrels make the most noise. While we 'give the devil his due', do we rob angels?
