This is a very stubborn company that think they can hire experienced locals and then fire them anytime for demanding better conditions of service. Are you here to do business or you are here to fool around? You are warned, MODEC.The immigration of Ghana should be up and doing. Some of their so called exparts have overstayed. Why should it take more than five years to transfer whatever skills they claim to have, assuming they have adequate skills not found in Ghana. Only myopic leadership will tolerate such arrogance from a foreign company MODEC, feeding on our resource. The least talked about TULLOW the better. Their time will come.

But I wonder why they have to fire eighteen of the locals knowing very well that another new FPSO will be coming to Ghana very soon for the TEN field. Government must step his foot down because this is the avenue to create employment for our Ghanaian graduates. We are sick and tired of exploitation by these foreign companies.
