Lumber users(carpenters, upholstery workers) in Ghana are relying on imports of raw materials from other countries, whilst many furniture come from other countries into GHANAIAN MARKETS.
By the same token,it was announced last year,by the president that Ghana was going to import lumber from the CAMEROONS & GUYANA.
Yet,here we are again, exporting logs to the FAR EAST & CHINA.
What's all these confusion here?
IT LOOKS LIKE THE GOVERNMENT DOESN'T KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IT IS ABOUT.
Why should they be importing furniture from TURKEY,if there are upholstery workers lacking raw materials to work with locally,to boost exports so the hard-earned American Dollar,COULD BE FLOWING AS A RESULTS OF THAT?
THE SYSTEM HAS FAILED THE NATION,BIG TIME.HER ECONOMIC PRACTICES IS TOO WEAK TO GAIN SOMETHING WORTHWHILE FOR THE NATION.BUT TAXATION STILL INCREASING BY EACH PASSING DAY.
How would job creation start in GHANA,IS THE QUESTION?
This government doesn't care about anybody but their pockets.
It's very sad, that our children have no hope in Ghana, because of POLITICIANS WEAK ECONOMIC POLICIES.
