Between 2005 and 2006 the Kufuor administration received a grant and loan of $603 million for Water projects from the World Bank. The government never used any of the money for water projects. The World Bank officials who approved this without follow up should be in prison for this fraud the people of Ghana have to pay back!
Similarly is the Mahama administration reported to have borrowed $16 or more billion from China without showing the list of projects, accounts and status reports!
Foreigners who collude with the Ghana government to dupe the people of Ghana should one day be held responsible for participation in the public crimes and corrupting our Ghanaian officials!
We are all watching and one day Justice will be done! Fair enough warning!

This energy problem was known 11 years ago in 2004 and Kufuor's solution was never well thought out. The Mills/Mahama administration preferred their ow mega million loan projects and none of them have even explored solar and other viable and self-sustainable solutions long term!
A nation which has trained so many Engineers most of who work in the West and cares not to tap their native sons talent is bound to fail! Technical decision are being made with only political flavor! It is sad Ghana, the once black star of Africa. Has dimmed so much due to the greed and corrupt minds of her leaders and envy politics of exclusion!
