issuence of reciepts and guarantee must come as the order of the day.
any Company who sold items without issueing reciepts with guarantees must be treated as criminal and illegal which must be attracted a Penalty of 2yrs imprisonment Default or a regualarised sums of Money paying to government coffers.
2.cabinet should also sanitise the payments Systems in the informal sector.
eg is if a mechanic replace a complet engine block of your car how much he should be paid, daily wages of a plumber, maisons, carpenter, farm weeders, etc.
some companies are cheating some workers,
mechanics are cheating motorist,
People are getting a lot of Money without paying taxes so there must be a clear sanitised System in the Country to net everybody.
3.everybody in the Country who is self employed must as a matter of decency and compulsary by law Register it.
do you know how much Money exchanging Hands in suame magasines? how many garages had registered ,
Every Garage must place notice board as to how much they Charge for their Services- ENGINE; BRAKES; CHANGE OF OIL etc so the customer know exactly how much to pay after the Services .

We can't help but observe that Mr. Mahama does not pay income tax. So, who is Mr. Mahama to ask people to pay income tax?
Also, why is a Consumer Protection bill more important to the Cabinet, than the Freedom of Information bill?
After all, if we do not have a FOI bill, how are we going to know how much the government is actually collecting from all the mechanics in a timely manner, say, before the next election?
Greetings!

It is high time consumers get protection form the government.
I was buying a chargeable lantern at Melcom last year for my sister but she changed her mind to go with one that also had radio, without me leaving the Melcom store I wanted to swap the item and pay the diffirent this people never agreed. With this consumer protection policy I hope Ghanaians will be treated as human beings on their own land by these foreigners. I only pray they do not take bribes at the expense of the consumers.
