Add cassava, bananas, tomatoes....and literally billions of cedis gone down the drain because they rot so fast/
Some your political mudslinging. There are hundreds of ways to hurt Africans if the west choose to, because we have such foolish and unscientific thinkers like you.

We cannot seem to manage the above....so what makes us think the introduction of GM foods will make a difference?
Repair the bad roads, construct bridges to grant access to cut-off food producing areas, bring back our railways, set up food processing and packaging plant, and then see if we will go hungry hungry or enter a dry food spell.
We seem to copy blindly from the West, forgetting that we have different scenario and context.

Away with GM crops!
This is endangering our lives and impoverishing our farmers.
We do not need GM technology to be self-sufficient in food.
Stop the trials now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
