thereby saving on expensive adverts. For tourism to achieve its potential, the Ghana Tourist Authority should champion a Water & Sanitation for A?l by 2016 campaign. If this is achieved tourists will simply pour in to see the most centrally placed country in the world with such enviable feat in Sub Sahara Africa. The Ebola story bears testimony.

But what he fails to realize is the fact that people dont come to Ghana due to the hazzel they have to go thru just to get a VISA. Why go to Ghana when you can go visa free to Kenya, South Africa, Egypt or Marrocco?

Ghana has nothing to offer but still acts like they have something special. Make visa on arrival available like normal countries and lower the fee to 10 usd and you will see the increase you want, otherwise forget it...

Christian, you are right. It can be difficult to get a visa. Ghana faces competition from around the world. Why go to Ghana on holiday when it is so much harder to enter than other countries.

Our streets are not safe in the night, our beaches stink, and no clean public toilets.I visited the Dominican republic recently. The country depends solely on tourism as a foreign exchange earner.Ghana can make it too.

IF RICH MINERAL RESOURCES INCLUDING THE OIL CAN NOT SOLVE THE ECONOMIC SITUATION OF THE COUNTRY THEN IT IS TIME WE PAY MUCH ATTENTION TO EDUCATION ELSE AFTER TOURISM WE WOULD STILL LOOK UP TO SOMETHING ELSE.
