Ghanaian houses are OVER PRICED. Look at these poorly finished houses at Manet, Regimanel etc. They compare these houses to the houses in America, yet the houses built here are built with cheap materials. How do these real estate owners expect people to dish out about a quarter of a million to 1 million dollars for some 3 or 4 bedroom house in Accra???

How is the government going to regulate the sale of lands n other properties by the chiefs? The parliament should be careful they dont add more injuries to the wounds.

homes can be sold without a agent..it done IN USA and signs say byowner! But banks or sellers must provide title insurance to pay new owners if they are sold land that not clear! You have to have lawyers/attorney that have st ... read full comment

You have to have lawyers/attorney that have studied land sales and bank loans..You don't need a labour or immigrantion lawyer looking over your sales contract! Banks need to advertize their loans rates(%) and compete against other banks and credit unions on this

You must register your agreement before cosigning therefore you cannot sell/rent any Property looking at the Area alone since Govt Levy will be considerer else the Contract is invalid.
The association will not solve the problem but RENT controllers must put their foot down.
Agent should be able to open a symposium for All property owners and who want to do business with it to understand the concept of little by little will help both Lessor and the leasser.
