Mr President you comment about Ghana's relations with Togo sums up the damage colonialism has done to Africa.Borders were demarcated without any attention to the viability of nations and the damage it did to the citizens of such nations.Colonialism is indeed one of the main reasons behind the inability of many African countries to stand on their feet economically. To the coloinialists african countries were just parcels of land to satisfy their economic and political aspirations. In all these the Roman Catholic church played a vital role[The Papal Bull] in ensuring that Africa was parcelled among the colonialists.

Good example of Africans joining together to develop Africa. "The railway line, constructed by Togo-Rail with technical support from Ghana railway development authority, will facilitate the transportation of raw materials from the Togo port to the cement factory".
This is a clear demonstration that Africans can manage their own affairs if we believe in ourselves.
Congratulations to Togo Rails and Ghana Railways Authority for a job well done. Brave!

Extension of rails to Accra will eliminate long convoys of trucks on the highway. The price of cement might even drop on the Ghanaian market. Mobilize students to build tracks

Naa MOrkor thank you there, it shouldn't be students on national service alone, why do we have soldiers, why do we have the field engineers in the military force? I have said it time and again our leaders know better but they don't want to do the best, why do we need foreigners to build our nation? Why are some people sacrifice their whole life time to become field engineer in our dear nation and end up traveling out side of the country? What is the military doing siting all the waiting for or to go to peace keeping? Whom is Ghana militarys equipping to fight against is it the Togolise or the Burkinabes or the Ivorians? The money that our governments spend on these foreign companies why not using it to buy our own machines? After all our engineers has proved they are capable of dealing with any engineering work. Let us consider the way our engineers dealt with the Ghana gas company recently, let our government start to think outside the box and stop the corruption because it will not take us to anywhere, let our governments picture the motive behind why Dr Nkrumah set up all these institutions and bring them to realisation. Instead of using foreign companies they should equip our own military and field engineers and that will be part of better Ghana I soppose. Thank you. GOD BLESS GHANA !!!!
