What is the difference between a collateral and a promissory note? Every loan Ghana has secured under every government comes with signed promissory note for payment. Call it anything you want but using Ghana's oil as collateral or using minerals and other natural resources which include the potential for enslaving Ghanaians is at the root of our outstanding loans.
Let us get to why our governments seek multiple loans under each new party in office and we will find out it is and has been the source of unchecked personal wealth people in government get prior to leaving the political stage. Kufour got his via the EO oil deal, the China contract for the stadium renovations. and many others. J.J. Rawlings got his through in your face stealing including takeover of CPP assets. The Mills/Mahama and Mahama administration need these loans to fulfill promises made and pockets that need to be full at the end of political life by most in the administration Nana Akufo-Addo is not fighting because of love for nation but with his dwindling financial fortunes he need the nations coffers to replenish. Take this to the bank ACEP

If you like what the GNPC is doing with this loan, then you are simply a partisan and that is simply pathetic.

Keep it up, and let's hear ALL the literates, illiterates and semi-literates who come on Ghanaweb.
For some of the comments we read, it would land one in prison or assasination in some African countries we know.
