If the inspection is transferred to Ghana, the same importers will bribe the GSA inspectors invoking Party and tribal alliances and poor quality products will find their ways into the Ghanaian market. What is baffling me is this---Is it not true that many goods imported into the country are far below international standard? So if the Government is instituting measures to ensure that high quality goods only are imported into the country what is wrong with it? Dont Ghanaians deserve to consume high quality products? What influence do the Ghanaian importer have over the producers of the low quality goods they import into the country? Let us cooperate with the new law to demonstrate to the overseas producers that Ghana is civilised and ready to pay for aand consume high quality products. In any case my dear importers, are your exported goods not subjected to stringent inspections overseas before they are permitted into those countries? THen why are rather shamelessly assisting the overseas exporters to continue sending low quality goods to your fellow Gahanians to consume?PLease let us think over this and reverse this trend.

“So is the GSA saying today that inferior goods are on the market, then whose call is it, isn’t this an indictment on them as there would be no excuse for that?” he asked. So why are you complaining now if the GSA is taking steps to ensure that inferior goods don't get to the Ghana market. Let the GSA do its work.
