they need to focus on this area and source for the necessary funding to push it and confidently market them overseas. we wish them well!

Even after the KNUST has certified the samples clinically, that is not what the medicine man will produce. They love to cut corners. Do not trust any Ghanaian herbal medicine man.

I have a different view on this,not as much to discourage the idea but from my perspective, traditional herbal medicine in Ghana has for so long been kept in the dark from outsourcing.

In the U.K one can learn it easily from herbalist practitioners and also go foraging in groups.
People can learn how to use herbs to benefit their everyday life if they can find the time.
The USA is even far ahead you can access information on websites.
Books have pictures of herbs.
Ghana will benefit from such books if traditional herbalists can compile one or two books for people wanting to learn about herbs and their uses instead of keeping it to themselves.

It is not only medicine that is required in these markets, but other products like foodstuffs and clothing. The producers of these items should seek to make their products qualitative and reasonable in pricing. They have taken a long time in realizing the purchasing power of these group of immigrants.

Tell your people to trade with their neighbors in Africa. The African immigrant market in the USA and Europe is just very minuscule compared with the dark continent. Trade among African nations stand at a disappointing 2%.
