  Ghana to import rice, ghana govt has to go thru the European Union. If EU say that type of rice is not good ghanaians would be allowed to have it.
  Ghanaians can only produce what the EU wants you to farm. In ten years all the crops we have not will vanish and we will be using seeds from EU and USA.
  It happen before when Nkrumah ex president sold ghana agriculture to foreigners. It was the time every village had a tractor with new seeds called Agric. These agric seeds did away with our original seeds. Agric groundnut, rice, cow, maize, tomatoes and all our crops got change at that time.
  John Mahama government made the same mistake this time to the EU but signing a twenty years trade agree with them. They want us to produce things they can buy from us. Some people like John Mahama and Hannah Tetteh thinks it a good idea and sign an agreement without letting the people know.
  Cocoa is a very good example of what the foreigners do to ghana. The fools will say farming cocoa is better than any crop in ghana. That is how the whiteman brain wash them. Ghanaians will never have problem with food if these stupid brain wash people think and stop using our land to farm something most ghanaians have never seen.
  Why wouldnt the foreigners buy cocoa product from ghana instead buy only cocoa beans. How can ghana be feeding other countries while it people suffer.
  Turn all the cocoa farms into farms that will produce something we can eat not sell to foreigners.
  Ghana is not more for ghanaians but for the EU,USA, China, Japan and now with a new boss the IMF joint from neck down as European Union.
  Ghana govt under John Mahama the country is sold and he and has govt hope and thinks IMF should take the country. IMF first policy is ghana govt must sell whatever the country owe before any more is given. Ghanaians are going to lose their jobs in large scale. All govt companies will be sold to foreigners with the ghanaians managers.
  Nana Addo and NPP will have a problem in govt if they dont start now talking about John Mahama and selling of ghanaians properties.
  NDC can down this to ghana, IMF are people who dont want the welfare of people, its money in profit is what they do. IMF and EU dont give money, they tell you what to do, if you agree you get the money.
  Ghana govt NDC cant make a policy with IMF tells them to do.
  Ghana dont have oil as people thing. Ghana only get 17.2% of the total oil sold. Its only taxes the oil companies pay to the govt. The oil belongs to the companies who spent millions in finding the oil. The oil feild dont belong to ghana.
  The oil companies made ghana sell it only drilling ship. They made sure fuel prices keep going high in ghana. If really ghana has oil prices should be going down not up.

  Buy from local producers and sell! you nation wreckers! you do this and still blame the government for the value of the cedi.
  Some one have to stand up! if we cant eat our own rice then we should go hungry! you have a large capital so get your buts down and go to cultivate that same one you import to sell and make that same money whiles the presure on our currency ease and we get some people to work too to solve the unemployment crisis. Ghana is full of buying and seling!

  Demonstration is useless waste of time. When Iddrisu and Mahama were fighting to get the EU thing - we all said don't do it. This is because we have seen the anguish and pain it brings. Now you cannot sell your rice and tomato because every other country want to sell you theirs because tere is open market. It is different if a coutry does not produce rice and have to import. But just recently, ndc gave them open door wide. Now you will see open market and competition. There are enough countries who were messed up with this.

  I agree that there should be a total ban and rice growing in the country should be promoted. The forighners who have already made profits for years must be made to plough back their profits in rice farming. If they r not interested then they are not interersted in the progress of our country. They must be asked to pay their taxes and leave.
