WHY ARE MANUFACTURERS RAISING PRICES RAPIDLY. DOES THE GOVT HAS ANSWERS FOR THAT. IT IS GUE TO POOR MANAGEMENT OF THE GOVT BY RAISING FUEL, UTILITY, TRANSPORTATION PRICES. YET SALARY OF THE ORDINARY WOKER IS AT STAND STILL. NO WONDER THERE IS CORRUPTION EVERYWHERE SO THAT FOLKS CAN MAKE ENDS MEET. TOO MUCH FOR PEOPLE TO HANDLE YET THEY SAY THEY ARE NOT COOKING THE BOOKS.

Manufacturers are raising prices, the foreign exchange rate is getting worse and worse. Yet somehow the inflation rate is still low?
Talk about creative accounting and no one seem to hold this government to account.

The government increased fuel prices that brought inflation that they are fully aware. The value of the cedi has depreciated for some time now causing the prices of raw materials being imported for manufacturing purposes into the country going up sky rocket. The exchange rate is one of the most important determinants of a Ghana's relative level of economic health. Exchange rates play a vital role in a country's level of trade, which is critical to every free market economy in the world. For this reason, exchange rates are among the most watched analyzed and governmentally manipulated economic measures. A higher currency makes Ghana's exports more expensive and imports cheaper in foreign markets; a lower currency makes a country's exports cheaper and its imports more expensive in foreign markets. A higher exchange rate can be expected to lower the country's balance of trade, while a lower exchange rate would increase it.
The general rule states that a country with a consistently lower inflation rate exhibits a rising currency value, as its purchasing power increases relative to other currencies before the current government came to power the rule was in full swing in Ghana and the new cedi was doing well in terms of exchange rate and the economy as a whole. Mismanagement of Ghana economy will bring serious disaster if care is not taken. The government has to work hard with the central bank of Ghana to deal with the present exchange rates in the country

No one should doubt the deteriorating trend of the economy. This phenomenon will continue so long as decisions are taken without due diligence. We have ministers in the Mahama administration who just take decisions overnight on issues making them a laughing stock not only to Ghanaians but the world at large. No doubt nothing is being achieved after the billions of loans contracted. Folks we are heading towards the abyss.

If IMF bailout is the only option that could turn our economy around, why is it that IMF bailout out on Portugal,Spain,Italy,Greece and other East Europeans countries did not turn things around for them and are rather crying complain the bailout did not bring relief but rather hardship. If the IMF bailout did not work for white folks in Europe what is the propability that it will work of uneducated black who is soo foolish to sign anything even if they do not understand to dangers involve.Ghanaians need to understand that IMF bailout is not free and we still pay for the the money. This is who bailout works.IMF will pay all countries we owe them with interest and What IMF does is that all our products we sells like Gold,Diamond, bauxite,Mangarnese, cocoa and oil takes what percentage they IMF and Government of Ghana agree upon and at the same time puting GHc65 billion in NDC pocker because NDC could not provide a single complet project and makes fools out of Ghanaians that is why the president told Ghanaians to stop calling him a fool because Ghanaians are rather fools. Those who thinks IMF is the only option then they must think again. The IMF bailout only makes NDC filty rich.
