It is imply pathetic that some Ghanaians operating under the guise of NGOs have become vocal spokesmen and surrogates fronting for the foreign oil companies. They have all been bought with all kinds of promotions by the FOCs.
Scores of journalists have been taken abroad for "further studies" in one year oil and gas courses and some have even been put on stipends upon their return by these FOCs. They are all in the pockets of the FOCs now.
With the huge losses Ghana is sustaining, windfalls going to the FOCs, it is peanuts for them to set $1bn aside from those billions to bribe all the MPs and journalists in Ghana. After all, the NPP MPs only got $5000 in order to approve the Vodafone deal that got Ghana Telecoms sold to them for a song.
The ACEP "experts" should challenge Efo Solo's the mathematics and calculations and show us that the govt is not selling us down the river again like the slave traders, rather than constantly arguing on behalf of the FOCs. If there is the tiniest of loophole in the PNDC law which can be exploited to get us out of the jam we are in, it must be exploited to our full advantage.
I am not surprised at all about the books not being shared to the MPs. There are evil forces at work to keep Ghanaians ignorant about the ongoing abominable rip off. The same forces prevented Efo Solo from making a presentation to the Cabinet before the approval of the sell-out Bill. They used the Election petition as an excuse. Wait until it was over, I was shock to learn. Suspending serious govt business until the circus of an election petition was over? Fellow Ghanaians, when they said that the Election Petition was contributory to their slow start and non-performance so far, they really mean it! They were watching TV, I bet!
It is a pity the NPP people are no better. They put us in this jam in the first place. Very pathetic!
With the stroke of a pen, Ghana can get up to $30bn more from the Jubilee Fields alone [not to mention others to come] and what the heck are some people saying? No oil company will run away from Ghana by adopting the PSA and back-dating it, as happened in other countries!

Anyway, this is not the first time ACEP has given its blessing to the existing inimical agreements which the Bill is attempting to legitimise. Those agreements cooked up by the NPP and given sanctions by the NDC are NOT BACKED BY ANY LAW, as the agreements contravene the existing PNDC legislation and its spirit. The issue shall soon be clarified fully and publicly.
Yeah! That's the colonial arrangement and mentality Efo Solo is fighting against, not to be extended into the oil and gas sector too. And some are giving their blessing to the rape!

Gondwana - buy shares in a company all legally done so the directors of muira must have known but never queried why a Canadian firm paid over a million never had any conversations about oil blocks or ministers letters or why they are all over the news since February on the oil block negotiations . WHAT are the police investigating or you have been paid off?
Charles Andoh- allegedly paid ghc 30k with 30 to come - two men put up sureties ghc2ok now and oh disappeared so the whole case will crumble and all that the crooks have to pay is the ghc20k to appease the sureties men.
It is an international joke and all of gondwana directors you are s marked! "We thought the letters are real" we know you met minister we know you were in the data room. We know the signature is real , where is the forensic on the original letter it is the first thing any company would do to prove no wrong doing ....or is it list and you only have a copy blah blah blah And who cares maybe 6 Ghanaians . What a waste of time

Why the disagreement and argument over the facts of the oil contract if we all love to see our nation gain from the said oil contracts.
Why is Ghana being treated like this by her own people? The white peopl always stand in for their nations, by cooperating to face the facts of any contract, which they always make sure is in their interest.
Why are our people not defending our nation, with cooperative nature especially in this oil contract in question at present. Can not we sit together to find out the facts pertaining to the reality of the oil contract the research fellow Mr Kwakukume is talking about?
I expect our parliamentarians, and even the whole nation to wake up to show great interest in this prime issue raised by the researcher Mr Kwakukume, with the inclusion of the director of policy and research at ACEP Mr Amewu to help find the reality of our advantage in this oil deal.
It could also be a curse for those who will join hands with foreigners to dupe the wealth of our nation. In short our nation is a property of God so we all ought to be careful with negative things that we do against Ghana.
This issue should not be handled with an African primitive mentality of divided minds of claiming I am intelligent than this man so I would not agree with him, but it should be treated with wonderful cooperation which eventually will help us to better things for our own nation in relation to our oil contracts so that it could benefit ourselves and our children.

In Ghana patriots are imprisoned and unpatriotic citizens and even presidents like John Agyekum Kufuor who drove away Ghanaian experts and intellectuals from the crude oil industry by imprisoning Mr. Tsatsu Tsikata so that the U.S. companies get the majority shares in Ghana's crude oil industry.
It is on record that some executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) went to the U.S. to prevent KOSMOS from selling 14% of its shares to Ghana.
To members of the NPP everything in Ghana and even themselves are the property of the white man. Now they are forcing the state to buy Russian arms for peacekeeping through a British or U.S. company, because when they were in power they bought Russian planes through a British company. The blame of the lost of a bigger shares in the crude oil industry by Ghana lies by the feet of John Kufuor.
