Much of the cash from STAR goes to individual pockets. Reports from most CSOs are lies! Money is going down the drain. Tell us one positive impact funding the media has brought to the poor!

There is too much waste that should be cut with immediate effect. If our budget is being supported why do we have to set up a big government which is full of waste?
How many people work at the office of the president and why? Before the last election, NDC pushed for the creation of additional 45 constituencies without thinking of where the money will come from to pay for such huge additional cost.
The donor nations do not just conjure money from the skies to give us. They tax their people and their leaders do not indulge in reckless and stupidities like us. They use "commonsense" in governance.
Nkrumah bragged that we can manage our own affairs and if an old person at age 57 cannot take care of him/herself, what is the message then?
We have failed as people which is an undeniable fact.

Donors have to work their tail off, before coming up with something to give us some.
We have better atmospheric condition than the donors,by far,yet we always wait on them to donate to us.
In CANADA,WE HAVE ONLY 5 MONTHS TO PLANT AND HARVEST,BUT WE PRODUCE TO DONATE SOME TO OTHERS IN BETTER WEATHER CONDITIONS.
I think, our leaders are not strategising, planning to set meaningful goals for us to follow.
They always put their hopes on the donors,therefore,self-reliance has never been in their economic equation,PICTURE,GALLERY,PHOTOGRAPH.
WAIT TILL ALL THESE DONORS CUT US BEHIND,then our leaders will start to use their sleeping brains,a little bit.

The (Bank of Ghana) BOG must ensure that foreign currencies are supplied to only Ghanaian importers of foreign goods. These must not fall into the hands of foreigners operating in Ghana who earn cedis but who would want to transfer funds to their shareholders in dollars.
Ghana has a market economy. Ghana is not an OECD country. Prices of goods and services in Ghana must be determined by demand and supply.
There is supply of certain currencies but absolutely no demand for those currencies. What should be the value of these currencies? These currencies include Canadian dollar, Australian dollar, Swiss Franc, Danish krone, Swedish krona, Norwegian Krone. Swift transfers to Ghana in these currencies must be rejected. All EU countries must transfer or bring to Ghana only Euros.
The global oversupply of United States dollars is disturbing.
On the contrary there is demand for chinese Yuan but there is no supply in Ghana.
We must not forget that the role of currency is to facilitate the exchange of goods and services. That is commodity-Money-Commodity (C-M-C)

Donors should stop supporting all African economies until governments demonstrate that they can prudently manage their own resources.

Managing Editor of the Insight Newspaper, Kwesi Prat Jnr has said action taken by the Mahama-led administration to fly a cash amount of $3 million to the Black stars in Brazil has made the country a laughing stock.
“I was listening to BBC yesterday and the presenters were making fun of the move made by the government, Ghana has become a laughing stock”,
BRASILIA, Brazil (AP) -- Ghana's cash-strapped football association has asked for an advance on the $8 million prize money it is guaranteed from the World Cup to pay outstanding debts to players.
FIFA said Wednesday that Ghana's request was ''under evaluation.''
It wasn't clear how Ghana would bring such a large amount of cash into the country without declaring it and paying tax on it in line with Brazilian law.
Brazilian officials said bringing in $3 million in cash and not declaring it to authorities would be illegal and the entire amount could be confiscated. Individuals cannot bring in more than $4,500 each without having it subject to taxes, said Brazil's Federal Police, who enforce custom and immigration laws.
