Lets face it, all these ashawo journalists and media realized after peddling the propaganda and lies of the NDC that the people immediately saw through them and stopped buying their newspapers or listening to their radio stations , so they now offer watered down versions of the truth instead of the cold hard facts . 98% of the people of Ghana have rejected the corrupt moral and perverse ndc govt policies be it so called fight for sodomy and gay right to fake economy discussions . we do not have these pepeni and ayigbe idiots as you have to be worth something or worthy to hate we simply read my lips here totally DESPISE THEM. we despise their corruption , we despise their hatred of the Akan majority , we despise their looting and their daily lies , the list is endless as the rotten through and through. Not so long ago they tell us this is the Action year for the Better Agenda as the continue listen very carefully the murdered mill's agenda . Then they tell us they are only in first gear , now they say with the economic forum not only has the car stopped but they are now shopping around for IDEAS to find petrol to get the car moving again in a direction they don't know ? yes we deeply despise such pepeni ayigbe incompetence and they should know after this period will follow the period of FURY. Just look at the misery and woes they have brought upon our people and still they refuse to LET OUR PEOPLE GO. they are too busy steal the little foreign exchange left that the cedi is plummeting down. they are allies with kuffour and his band of robbers who hijacked the npp for a while and made sure they destroyed the grassroots network of the npp so npp can not truly lead any opposition fight to the end like the Ukrainians did . these foolish ndc don't seem to figure out every time they come up with a way to freely spend the tax papers money we see through their lies and propaganda . so after spending a thousand dollars a day per person at this 4 day national economic forum without consensus what do they have to show for it except more lies , propaganda and wishful fantasy thinking . shame on you kuffuor for giving them support , if you can find it in you to care then advise your partners in crime to resign and go away for good

The National Economic Forum (NEF) has been a disappointment because there wasn't broad
discussions and consultations before the event. Why was such an event not published in papers
with an e-mail address for the public's input? My input is that we do not lack policy (e.g.
to reduce: debt, unemployment, corruption, etc.), which should be determined by a few think-
tanks in government. But again economic policy is what the forum was about. What we lack are
business.plan-like projects, which are comprehensive, widely debated for transparency and
ready for direct implementation. The ministries should have been tasked to come out with
their best projects which will have the greatest impact. These projects should then have been
discussed by the various committees of NEF.
Government should act like a client who wants to build. She should give terms of reference or
policy: e.g. budget (not more than this year's allocation), number of rooms/floors, etc. Without that, there is no policy concept for the architect to work on. This year's budget (hopefully) already gave the policy concept, like the architect's drawings. This cannot be implemented directly by artisans. We need engineering to work out detailed drawings and specifications. This is where we fail woefully. Why go to Akosombo to ask architects again to tinker with the facade, change some colors, with the hope that artisans can then set to work when the engineers at the ministries are being paid to NOT give detail-drawing deliverables? E.g. Ministry of Agric could have designed a module into NYEP to reduce graduate unemployment by renting parcels of farming land in the plains, acquiring inputs, taking proposals for commercial farming from groups of graduates, giving loans seed money to NYEP as coordinating consultants, who will pass the money through banks for managing disbursements (to short-listed projects) & for managing repayments, etc. Perhaps, it's not late for the Committee to be setup to ask the ministries for input. I could give helping support to such a committee.

This is the message Akoto Osei has been saying over and over again, but it looked like Mahama and his government felt ashamed to review the 2014 budget especially coming from someone from the opposition. It is quite simple to note that since revenue is dwindling and inflation as well as the depreciation of the Cedi keeps worrying this government,it is reasonable to review and prioritize your program so as to meet targets.Even a layman can see the wisdom in this except this government.

Dr. Anthony Akoto of the NPP has been harping on this for God knows how long that the 2014 budget as presented needs to be thrown out and a new one brought to parliament because the targets are off. How long has he been saying this but the NDC govt has not listened? Yenti3 obiaa and we are wasting so much time and resources to be told what needs to be done at a forum. So NDC dies not know this? Ghana should be very worried very very worried.

There is going to recipe for disaster if Terkper review the budget. How can you review a budget that has being debate, approved, impliment and sanction? Those calling for budget review are making great mistake. What are they review the budget for?to do what?Is this a sensible idea?Is certain institution getting money done others? Are some institution unuseful that need no attention? Is reviewing the budget going to help pay all the contractors, teachers, nurses to turn around the economy? The only solution to our problem is (1)stop given all juicy contractor to foreign contractors and insentives(2)There should be a legislation that will see independent body award contracts.Government will only forward construction projects to the body and they do the rest and government approved to bring transparency etc.More ideas hidden and i don't want to bring forward.

Rewiewing the budget will be like jumping from fry pan to fire.It will bring confusion galore that in the history of Ghana such confusion has never recorded.A word to the wise is enough.
