    stop short term gratification for electricity and think about long term chronic breathing problems that you or your grand children will have.

    Do you own research well. Solar is way to go but expensive.

    Heard of clean coal technology? Please read about it and come back. 41 percent of global electricity is generated from coal - 45 percent in US.

    Solar is good but cannot provide base load. We are talking serious industrialisation and not lighting up my village.

    This will be a retrograde step. Enlightened Institutes are taking steps to discourage the use of Coal in any form

    Almost every source is an environmental pollutant. Energy source that cannot be paid for by the user will out live its usefulness. There should be trade off here to mitigate the serious energy shortages. Ghana cannot depend o ...

    Europe is getting back to Coal as a result of clean coal technology. 41 percent of global electricity generation is coal based and 45 percent for US.

    Coal can pollute the air, but most Trains run on coal to transport people. What is good for Stanford May not be good for Ghana . They are both in different environment.

    NATIONS ARE TRYING TO DO AWAY WITH POWER GENERATION FROM COAL BECAUSE IT HAS BEEN SUSPECTED OF BEING BIGGER PRODUCER OF WARMING OF THE ATMOSPHERE. WE CAN RATHER LOOK AT WIND AND SOLAR INSTEAD.

    Most countries have do not condiser coal an option. Polution, and nuemorous
    health problem does not make if feasible.
    any way , no wonder - there is a large asbetos factory in Accra.
