This is a good call but hope it will not become another Pet project for the Government which is known to have high failure rate.

cashew are easy $1 or more per pound than ground nuts...finished nuts in usa (cashews and groundnuts) that are roasted and salted can cost $3.50 per pound (7 cedi)

If such a call is being made to an unproductive, wasteful heir(NDC)who squanders the hefty wealth bequeathed by Ghanaian citizens, why do you guys import the same CASHEWS from IVORY COAST?
I don't understand you guys at all.

Instead of being industrious in farming activities, now the Brong Ahafo citizenry, are rather importing the damn nuts from Ivory Coast.
How do you want the government to support this?
It could have been a good idea though, but you guys should also pull your weight a little bit,by showing you can plant the nut,and no more relying on importation of it.
If I were THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE,I would have studied your activities very well, before putting in a penny.
Normally,we help those that are trying to do something worthwhile with their lives, but not otherwise.

This appeal shows that we lack a proactive government that seriously seeks to improve export for more dollars.
