Hoping this clients will get their monies back to safeguard them against the economic hardship in the country.

The customers are around but where are the personnel of the micro finance?They have closed the office and also switched off their phones.The depositors should not suffer because some people have defaulted in paying their loan ... read full comment

Is there no state agency which will protect the interest of thousands of customers who are often swindled by these mushroom microfinance companies? Can't Bank of Ghana for instance appoint 2 officers each in each of the distr ... read full comment
Is there no state agency which will protect the interest of thousands of customers who are often swindled by these mushroom microfinance companies? Can't Bank of Ghana for instance appoint 2 officers each in each of the districs of Ghana to be checking if these companies are duly registered by both Bank of Ghana and The Registrar-General's Dept and are operating in tandem with existing statutory regulations?
