EVERY SOLUTION THIS GOVERNMENT HAS COME UP WITH HAS BEEN THE WRONG ONE THAT RATHER WORSENS THE SITUATION. CLUELESS, VISIONLESS, DIRECTIONLESS, AND THEY KEEP DRIVING THE WHOLE NATION IN REVERSE GEAR BACK INTO THE VALLEY WE ARE STRUGGLING TO COME OUT OF! THE MOST HONOURABLE THING TO DO UNDER SUCH CIRCUMSTANCES IS TO RESIGN! BUT WILL THEY? GOD HELP GHANA!

In free market economy illegal trading can only thrive if it is dictated by the market. Dollarization will always continues no matter any directives and criminalization of it by BOG. However, illegal trading and dollarization will die out if the BOG spends its energy to nullify the market parameters that call for this situations. And the obvious parameter is shortage of dollar. Yes, people speak of Ghanaians being export oriented but in country where our leaders walk before they crawl this is what happens. A poor country like Ghana but most people and especially the politicians want to live like Bill Gates and as such they will have all their belonging imported because Bill Gates belonging is not manufactured in Ghana. The atmosphere of some places is more than Beverly Hill or Chelsea and people wonder why Ghana can be poor with certain cars plying our street. Such things force ordinary people to copy the politicians and that also explain our appetite for imports. Unless everybody including the politicians learn to crawl before walking, the cedis woes will never be solved.
