It is interesting to hear people who love to talk a whole lot without saying much. Thieves masquerading as businessmen and an NPP party that preaches the virtues of property owning citizens do much of their talk because of business reliance on government coffers. Majority of Ghana's rich and successful business owners got their start from government contracts and some continues today. If the government of Ghana is as bad as all the critics make it out to be why do people rely on the very lousy government to make a killing? The government of Ghana under the NDC and NPP has been a source of the gravy train for most of Ghana's businesses. We know for example that Kennedy Agyapong became filthy rich by Ghana standards through his government contract to supply cables to ECG under Kufour while his wife/spouse fleeced the same government under another company name.
People should take a look at Liberty Capital Insurance Company as another example and they will find a company that is fleecing Ghana government via the NYEP/GYEEDA employee investment portfolio. A careful read of the contract between those little boys at NYEP who signed the existing binding contract with Liberty Capital do get kickbacks from Liberty Capital while the management at Liberty Capital do get contributions from NYEP/GYEEDA employees without providing all the necessary investment interest each month because of the collusion between the NYEP/GYEEDA boys and management at Liberty Capital.
The national government under John Mahama has the right to look out for the interest of civil servants and not the interest of private businesses who make their money off government, fund political parties and engage in activities that subverts governments and or political party they do not like while they talk a whole lot of nonsense to everyday Ghanaian because of their ill gotten wealth.
If the organization of Insurance brokers in Ghana believe they have what it takes to engage in business to make money through free and fair business competition practices they should go after the 90% sources currently untapped.
