Why is the government still holing shares in banks? Banks are for private, fund managers and private equity holders. Government to shell off it's shares and use the money for a factory which can also be sold later. Government will only benefit form create and sell! that is the only stretegic direction! selling ADB can set up at least refegeration manufacturing plant! sell NIB and GCB and we can have apparel factory. Sell GNPC and we can have mobile telecom manufacturing plant. Sell the gas infrastructure and we can create Canary, bonsa tyres, afram glass back! what a transformation this is? sell these companies in five years and ther we go again...... Do people know is good for us? Will politics kill this idea? or greed turn this as insults? Well i am not a god economist but looking at the rich nations, the Government do not owe any industry! he collect taxes from them and employees! Cant we copy? even if we dont know? We must admit that we dont have the caapital to grow! we need the FDI'S even Americans do!
