All developing economies need revenue to be able to run it's business. Roads, Schools, hospitals, police, fire service, army etc..
All living in The country are therefore expected as their civil duty to pay their Taxes accordingly.
This with the assumption that the individuals have income generating possibilities.
The government therefore has the responsibility to create conducive atmospheres' for income generation by it's people.
Most developed nations put more priorities in creating these conducive environments, hence it citizens pay their duties and vat as requested.
Please give us Ghanaian's the same options reasonable interest rates, constant electricity and water supply and we would be more than willing to pay as the government request. I am in the food industry producing ready made FOOD items. The cost of borrowing is so high,utility chargers are so high and duties on imports are so high. How does the country expect us to be competitive when the cost of production is so high due to the above mentioned factors?
And now more Vat. This is BAD GORVENANCE NO VISION....

Ghanaian should learn how to demonstrate, also demonstrate against grature award it should be aborlish the leaders are looting our money get raid of them .
