This is being facilitated to accommodate Muslim pilgrims to Mecca. As for the politicians it is just another pay day with the most relevant whistle blower, Miss Vicky Hammah out of sight, those thieves are rejuvenated.
Kumasi rather would have been a better location. It is in the middle of the country and easily accessible to the other regions. $170 million dollars could have been easily used to extend the railroad to Tamale instead.
