Joint ventures, direct investments and working with locals to build local infrastructure and knowledge is welcome, BUT sellig of resources and lands to the highest bidder with no thought of future stakeholders or political implications is dangerous.
Chasing foreign investment without a careful thought out governance plan in place, is a recipe for disaster, because once control of the country's resources is sold off to the highest bidder...we ain't getting it back.
