How much will our country contribute to this project?
That is the first question that should be asked for?
The second question is what goods are we expecting to export or import that are so important to spend our money on that project?
3rd- What sort of people are we expecting in our country that is required of us to help them in transportation?
Currently, the Ecowas is not in our favor. Our schools are being taken over by the Nigerians. And we are going to create this project to make it easier for them to take over the country? Are we serious at all?
Remember, no country has ever developed without taking care of its borders. Even though, there is EU, but every member of the union has its border and they know every foreigner that is in the country. But we Africans believe that our borders should be opened to all. That is backward mentality.
Based on such idiocy, I did oppose the free SHS, not because it could not be done, but rather, Ghana would spend all her money taking care of the children of our neighbors.
We need to think. Unfortunately, we have an idiot as a Minister who knows nothing about this and want to join the "project"

I don't think you're being relevant on this, because those who have the technology haven't got to the point of covering that travelling distance within the hours mentioned.

Even before the start of the project, laudable though, I can foresee danger. One.... Our Nigerian brothers do not have regular supply of electricity thanks to NEVER EXPECT POWER ALWAYS (NEPA). Two: Ghana is no better under dum so dum so and since Ghana supports Togo with power, the situation will not be any different at the Togolese end. What may happen is that passengers will end up pushing the coaches to their various destination and in the process being attacked by Armed Robbers in the bushes. Electricity High Speed Trains in West Africa with Ghana and Nigeria leading the project? I am sorry. I rest my case.
