Think, Ghana, and get over this mess. You've been wasting money paying top dollars for no work down...remember Woyome? Come one, you could pay the workers, just cut corruption in half and you'll have enough to pay everybody.

That is what happens when looking-glass economists ( they read books about what happened in Europe and America thirty years ago, and urge us to imitate them now} how can Africa develop. We can develop only when they apply their knowledge to analyse the African situation and find their own solutions. Imitation never works.

To hear most in the NPP put it they believe in and practice democratic value and practices they've acquired from UK and yet forgot that in the UK as in the USA civil servants do get paid at the same time and on schedule each month of the year
So why would the SSS scheme come as a surprise and or a burden to all? The problem is not the SSS but a bankrupt nation brought on by greedy, thieving and morally bankrupt elite who avoid paying taxes on thier property, business and earnings thereby adding to the revenue shortfall of the national government
If this doctor believes there is a better solution than curtailing the rather outrageous wages and benefit packages of the members of the judiciary, members of parliament and of all who serve in the offices under the presidency let him come out with it. I bet he will never propose rescheduling when to pay people at his level and or the so-called intellectual elite but would like to see the working poor civil servants co tinue to be treated like second class citizens in Ghana

SSSS is unmanageable in any economy. It cannot be defended and, so must be replaced with a more sustainable salaries structure.

This is a deliberate callous diabolical and suicidal action taken by Kuffuor just before vacating power neccesitating the current woes in our economy to crucify the Mills/Mahama's administration and turn the population against the government.Eventually the NPP will come to power and the concoction they prepared just before leaving power to make the NDC regime infamous will come over to haunt them.
