How is this project monitored? What is the current National forest coverage figure and what do they expect it to be in the next ten years of running this program? Do they have the capacity to seriously measure and appraise development? If NOT, then they would be making some corrupt people very rich at the expense of the helpless people and the environment. WATCH OUT!

The Fund should be strictly monitored to ensure it does not end up in the pockets of the authorities.
Part of it must be used to augment security for the Field Personnel, 65 of whom have been murdered within only the last two years by illegal lumber operators using Chain Saws, according to the Forestry Commission itself.
The uncontrolled wholesale harvesting of the Teak Plantations must also be stopped. These harvests don't seem to follow any planned regime requiring expert regeneration management.
