in usa colonial and keystone owns most of the pipelines..The oil companies own most of the storage tanks...Anytime you allow gov to run things problems happen..With private companies you just need to watch and make sure the compete..Not collude and raise the prices..oil and oil products is supposed to be priced by both cost of products and sometimes demand..When their is shortage then wholesalers and filling stations run the prices up...Better to have plenty of storage and transport of products in private hands where they have to compete and thats good for consumers!
