BoG to transfer its share to ADB is the issue to enable the ADB to function independent of the BOG.
Both the BoG and the ADB are state banks. What is the point of BoG selling its shares in ADB to private buyers before ADB can become viable by way of raising additional capital?
Privatisation of the ADB is not the way out but the way to impoverish the ADB and destroy the concept.
The ADB must be subsidized by the state so that the ADB can subsidize the agriculture and the food industry.
That subsidy guarantees food security for Ghana, as it is in Europe and the US.
Some of the Oil Revenue should be invested in the ADB with management review and reorganisation of the ADB.
With that reorganisation, the ADB can employ the new University graduates with mandate to innovate the agriculture industry.
Pres Mahama must be given the right advice on food, agriculture and the ADB in order to succeeed.

Where did you get your PhD from? What food security? Which European banks had the mandate to "innovate the agricultural industry"? Banks make money through lending to companies or entities that can pay back their loans. The ADB and other state banks should learn that simple mantra.
The ADB can sell shares to raise capital. Why do they need government money when Kporzih is paying himself and those licking his butt bonuses like he is the CEO of HSBC? The ADB should compete in the free market. That bank should be privatized, it does not need government support.

The 2nd option is the best for ADB! Indeed BoG should get out of the way so the bank can go public by making their very 1st IPO announcement. There're lots of would-be investors out there. I'm absolutely optimistic that some private companies and individual would express interest in ADB if they balance their books before going public.
