WHY ARE THE MINING COMPANIES ARE NOT SETTING UP REFINARIES IN GHANA AND CONTINUE TO TRANSPORT SAND OUT OF THE CONTRY. HOW MUCH COMES BACK? I SAW THIS THE FIRST TIME IN 1980 WHEN I WENT TO GSTS, AND HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO GO TO THE PORT. HOW LONG CAN THIS GO ON.

The gov't has misplaced priorities. It should be revamping the dilapidated railway system before inviting companies to mine Ghana's onshore natural resources for export. If the policy continues, it will not be long before our newly constructed roads are damaged by heavy laden vehicles carrying mining products to the ports.
