Vitally and urgently NEEDED is an IMMEDIATE decision to grant automatic citizenship of each others' countries to ECOWAS citizens from two different West African countries who choose to marry each other; and, dual citizenship to children from such ECOWAS marriages. It will forever remain a dream and a dream! Do our politicians recognize what is going on with the EU? Have they looked at Greece, Italy, Spain and Portugal? Why is Germany resisting subsidizing the French who want to work for only 4 days? Yes, we need to trade with one another, but please forget about integration.
We need to put our house in order first. Do we have the institutions to deal with any influx of people (or whatever) from the ECOWAS community? How are we going to protect jobs (assuming they exist)for Ghanaians? Please do not sell our country short!!
