But, I am sure, they will use much as possible from Ghana, as this is a way to be able to offer this beer at an attractive price and create jobs in Ghana! (This is what they do also in Greece! This is now, after RED BULL - the 2. big brand DRINK BRAND from germany/Austria, to storm Ghana and Africa!

Oil money will finish because of a beer?!?
Don't you think that oil money will finish because of politicians and their cronies? What does a beer have to do with politicians misusing our oil money?

your is a good comment but on a totally wrong topics. Beer is probably the only market segment vastly dominated by the Made in Ghana!! A foreign beer can only have just a small slice of the market, will never be able to compete with the locally brewed ones.
Your comment would be more appropriate for other products such as rice, sugar, oil, etc. that are largely imported, even though we could increase their domestic production.
Also, not only foreign beers are a niche product, but also a wider choice might benefit the consumers, both in terms of product quality and price. Fair competition is the driving force of a free economy..
Finally, protectionism often is just a populist measure with negative with no positive effect.
We should concern ourselves with more serious issues, and not with a foreign beer in Ghana....

I think it is time our research institutions go all out with their findings and impress upon industry to take up the challenge to make use of those findings.
I also suggest that young graduates from the UNIS should team up and come up with new innovations which will benefit the country.
