It is appreciated efforts by Government and Parliament to shore up the budget. The target area for taxes to do this are all agric based, looking at the list. In one vain areas including cutlasses are included but fertilizer is excluded with the excuse that the poor will be impoverished . The peasant farmer whose effort feeds the poor but does not require fertilizer but a simple tool like a cutlass will have to be taxed, and that will not impoverish the poor?

Did ghana has economy at all?what economy are they taking about. Are taking about prostitution economy or armed robbery economy. Is it manufacturing economy or jobless economy. Is it Importing and buying and selling economy or stealing economy. Is it corrupt economy or dubious judgement debt payment economy the want to stabilize with this levies?Ghanaians wake up from your slugger if Mahama has wasted Ghc8.7billion + GHc600million making GHc 9.3billion or US$4.6billion and buying bonds of US$1billion and 3billion euros and it could not do any thing for the country then Ghana is doom.If all the taxes that the is taking cannot stabilize the so call economy by the way if we have any at all and this levies can stablilze the economy then we are yet to see it magic and let take back our country as what Egypt did to their non performinig democratically elected president to send a clear message to whoever elected that Ghanaians do not tolerate nonsense and non performing.

Sorry state of the country.the parliament and the government does not know what they are doing and they can seize everything that comes in the country they can do anything about the Ghanian economy because they do not know what their doing. It pains me that they can used the port to improve the economy of the country that is What the British start with state of Hon-Kong was the shipping hub that make Hon-Kong the prospect state in Asia and then Korea and Malaysia copy them and then Dubai copy them.In South Korea the started with their port asking the shipper that where Hundyia started making container for the shipping companies.I fell sorry for Ghana because we have leaders who have no clue or vision and no credible plan to rule the country and poor Ghanaian are being cut up between on their visionless leaders.Ghanians should reject the unbearable tax increase. They want to tax everything to the ground
