I can't wrap my mind around this. WAPCo is just a sham, a useless venture for all the countries involved. Because it's an African project the GM can afford to tell us the nonsense she is saying. If they were supplying the gas to the West I am very certain her response would be different. Is the pipeline air dried or chemically induced? For either of these process can't the engineers calculate and give us an estimated time (within all the statistical parameters)? It is appalling for her to say things like that! Africans run companies like Africans when they are serving Africans. Reliability is not part of their business model.
